Prototype to Production

From concept to cutting. Fast. We iterate while everyone else is still filing purchase orders.

Our Story

Steel Runs in the Blood.

Long before Ryan Industries had a name, there was a machine shop in Louisa County, Virginia. A young boy spent his formative years there — watching his grandfather turn raw metal into something purposeful, learning the weight of a micrometer before he could drive. That shop, and the smell of cutting oil that never quite left his clothes, set everything in motion. He went on to earn his degree in Machine Shop Technology and later his Journeyman's papers in Tool Making — credentials forged the old way, through years of precision and proving grounds.

By 1989, that discipline became a business: a small machine shop in York, Pennsylvania. And it turns out that young Ryan boys growing up on shop floors during their most formative years isn't a coincidence — it's a family tradition. The next generation carried that same instinct south to Florence, Kentucky, this time armed with robots, software, and a vision for what American manufacturing is supposed to look like.

Ryan Industries is not a startup. We are three generations of precision, reinvented. CoBots. ROS2. Digital twins. The machines are smarter now, but the hands-on, no-shortcut philosophy hasn't changed.

Manufacturing & Engineering

From Raw Material to Finished Product.

Additive, subtractive, and everything in between — vertically integrated under one roof. We don't outsource the hard parts.

01

Additive Manufacturing

Multi-printer additive fleet running engineering-grade polymers, composites, and carbon fiber reinforced materials. Continuous throughput with 50μm layer precision and 350°C-capable hot ends for production-grade output.

  • PLA · PETG · TPU
  • Nylon · PC · PPA
  • CF/GF Composites
02

CNC Machining

Multi-axis CNC machining across aluminum, steel, stainless, titanium, brass, and copper. From tight-tolerance structural components to production metal parts — we cut it all in-house.

  • Structural Components
  • Custom Brackets & Housings
  • Production Metal Parts
03

Wire EDM

Custom-built Wire EDM with a rigid screw chassis and precision aftermarket components. We didn't buy turnkey — we engineered our own. That's the kind of company this is.

  • Hardened Tool Steels
  • Complex Profiles
  • Micro-Features
04

Manual Machining

Full manual machining bench for one-offs, quick-turn modifications, and secondary operations. Sometimes the fastest path from idea to part is a skilled hand on a manual machine.

  • Rapid Prototyping
  • Secondary Operations
  • Quick-Turn Modifications
Robotics

CoBots Built in America.

Collaborative robots designed to work alongside people — not replace them. Safer, more flexible, more accessible than traditional industrial robots.

Mechanical

Full In-House Prototyping

Every mechanical component designed and fabricated here. Additive and subtractive manufacturing working together from day one.

Software

ROS2 Control Systems

Built by us, not licensed. We own the full stack — from hardware interface to high-level behavior. CAD to code to cutting, here.

Simulation

Digital Twin Platform

Virtual testing and validation before a single physical part is cut. Faster iteration, fewer surprises, better hardware.

Prototype Phase Actively developing and iterating. Open to early partnership discussions — if you need a domestic robotics manufacturing partner that actually makes things, talk to us.
